Do you want to change your Internet Explorer's download location permanently .. Here is a simple step .
1. Go to Run >> Start then type "Regedit" , press Enter and navigate to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer
2. Just click over 'Internet Explorer', On the right pane double click 'Download Directory' and change it to new path. Eg: "E:\Download" ,
or copy below lines to notepad and save as a file with '.reg' extension .
eg: ie-download-location.reg
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer]
"Download Directory"="E:\\Download"
Double click 'ie-download-location.reg' , Windows will ask you for permission before making any changes to registry . Click Ok .
Try to backup registry before making any change .
